Book Related Valentine’s Day Gifts

Valentine’s Day is a pretty diametric holiday in my opinion. People in relationships seem to enjoy the holiday while single people don’t. I’m sure this doesn’t apply to all people but from what I’ve seen, that seems to be the instance in most cases.

I don’t think I need to say much about this candle. If the bookworm in your life is a real bookworm, they do basically dwell in bookstores so just hand this to them and walk away(i’m sort of kidding). You can find this candle here on Etsy.

Banned Books Socks

We all love at least a few banned books, right? Well now you can show that off with these socks! I think these would be a good gift for a book lover who hates receiving socks as gifts. That’s totally romantic, right?

You can find the socks over at Uncommon Goods.

I have always had mixed feelings about valentines day. I thought when I was dating someone it would make it a better holiday for some silly reason. It did not change my feelings about it at all lol! I love the mugs! I want that last one. Great post! 🙂

Valentine’s Day has always been a bit…lackluster? Maybe being readers has left us with some unrealistic expectations. Hahah.
      Thanks Bailey! :3

Valentine’s Day for me is just another normal day. I might buy some junk and just watch d couple of series.
I totally agree. It shouldn’t be limited to couples. Self love is the most underappreciated love. Let’s love ourselves more.
Nice ideas for gifts. I need that locket

Chilling and watching some fav shows sounds like a great plan! I agree that self love is underappreciated and that’s so unfortunate.
      Thank you for stopping by!

I love the banned book socks and the book locket! I’m not really bothered about Valentine’s Day, I’ve been with my boyfriend for seven years and we just celebrate it with a takeaway haha, I think people sometimes expect too much from it. It is just like any other day really though I will admit it’s nice to get something thoughtful even if it’s just flowers!

The locket is super cute! Takeaway, ahah, I love it! I agree – people expect too much out of the day. I’ve told past boyfriends that even picking flowers from a field would be enough for me. LOL. It’s definitely the thought that counts.
