Monthly Wrap-up: January 2021

Welcome to my monthly wrap-up for January! This was a fun first month into the new blogging year! In terms of reading, my pages are slowly and steadily increasing and I’ve been able to maintain somewhat of a consistent schedule so I’m happy about that.

Without further ado, check out what I’ve been up to this month!

This was a Top Ten Tuesday post – my first ever! I think it’s a neat little tag so I figured why not do it on my blog as well? Click the title to read my post!

How To Read More

This post has a few tips on how you can get in more reading throughout your day! That’s so important to us book bloggers and I’m sure even just regular readers enjoy reading as much as they can as well! I hope the tips help! x

Resolutions/Hopes for 2021

Another Top Ten Tuesday (TTT), this one revolves around our goals – bookish or not. I mostly discuss my bookish/blog goals for the upcoming year so if that interests you, then check it out!

Books By Black Authors

A post in support of the black community. Boost these books and authors whenever you can! Let’s help get more black author’s books seen and in circulation!

Books I Meant to Read In 2020 but Didn’t Get To

A TTT, these are just a few of the books I wasn’t able to get to due to the pandemic and everything else going on.

Literary Tattoos: Edgar Allan Poe

Continuing with my ever going series of Literary Tattoos, I decided to feature the charming Edgar Allan Poe. I was definitely not disappointed with some of these tattoos! Take a peek!

Including this post, that makes a total of 7 posts published this month! I’m quite proud of myself for mostly keeping up with my schedule this month. I did miss one Saturday but I’ve never pushed out this much content so consistently before on this blog (which is a little bittersweet), so I’ll take it!

Currently Reading

The Vines is an ARC I got from NetGalley that I really need to finish soon. Their weekly update emails sort of freak me out. LOL. Although recently NetGalley has been kind of…problematic??? So why stress, right? Meanwhile, Beautiful Facade is a book I’m reading for a blog tour – my date is February 2nd so be sure to check back for my review of the book! (:

Reading Next

I’m seriously almost desperate to finally get the reviews for these books done so I’ll be focusing on these three for the time being.

I created a Book Blog Directory this month for other book bloggers to join since we’re all in the same literary boat! I personally wanted a list on-hand for myself of active bookworms and figured it would be helpful to others as well. If you’re a book blogger, please feel free to click the link and I’ll add you to the list! ♥
