In August 2026, the hosted NeuroVivid. With Lead Facilitators leading the charge and assisted by teen Explainers, middle school students engaged in an innovative BCI (brain-computer interface) maker experience co-designed by and for neurodivergent youth. Focused on BCI, building circuits, and coding, five-day camp led students through a series of activities culminating in the building of their own BCI headset circuit to control objects with the power of their minds. The week wrapped up with a Showcase for all those interested in seeing what the mind can do!







NeuroVivid Pathways, funded by , builds on the National Science Foundation ITEST-funded NeuroVivid project to expand expand access to meaningful STEM experiences for neurodivergent middle school youth. The project brings the NeuroVivid model to new sites and communities while laying the groundwork for a sustainable and expandable approach that can reach students across the country.
